That Dude with the Brush

Well, after posting that picture of a Graffiti Kingdom creation of A.R.T.... I come to realise that the little guy had been rather forgoten despite being one of my greatest Sonic fancharacter creations.

And seeing I have improved since I last drew him, I decided to redraw him in my current style.

And now I shall put some detials about him down here....

A.R.T. is his nickname, which stands for "Artist Re-incarnated Toon".
Why this is, is because he's an artist and the form he has taken on is very similar to a cartoon, giving him traits that are very... cartoonish... such as being able to stretch parts of his body to absurd lengths.

A.R.T.'s real name is Norick though...

A.R.T. is pretty much a young god, he is able to bend reality in Amazina as long as he holds the brush, The Brush of Creation.
He is very powerful but he never goes full power, however he's only at his full power in Amazina...

He is able to warp from Amazina to the Human World/Mobius by will with the brush, however he loses the ability to manipulate reality in the real world...

His brush is capable of creating and summoning creatures, but he isn't very good at this skill and the ability becomes very poor in the real world, only allowing him to make elemental paint globs...

A.R.T. only has his powers of a creator as long as he holds the brush, without it he is powerless... He is very cocky with it in hand but when he loses it, he is revealed to be quite the coward...

A.R.T. rarely walks and is always seen flying and hovering about the place.


Before Nora was made, he was suppose to be the protagonist of my Amazina series, but it was incomplete and had no true plot.

His limbs are a bit weird because they are made of paint, giving him abilities that can be compared to Hiroaki's.

He is able to shapeshift very easily, however he cannot shapeshift into very big things and very small things, like a mighty dragon and a little fairy. So far, he usually stays in his Animal form, but he'll shapeshift into other species if he needs to.

A.R.T. is suppose to be a Sonic and NiGHTS crossover character, hence the acrobatic flying and jester outfit...

The brush idea came from playing "Super Mario Sunshine", though the brush was created by the will of the creator's heart... not by a crazy dude in a lab coat...
