Demetri is a robot from the H-Model Series with a rather serious demeanor and always appears to have no sense of humor.
He is the older brother of Rodney, and takes really great consideration into his protection.
Demetri has an unstable AI, making him act rather violent at times, however his AI stablizes when he is near Rodney, he is also very calm near Rubi for some reason.

He can control the electrical currents in his body, very handy when he doesn't want to be touched by Simon.

He was designed to be human-like, he is capable of eating, feeling, smelling, hearing and sleeping. He does not need to eat all the time, but he makes up the lack of fuel by sleeping even more.
However, his body design is a bit... odd and makes most people around him uncomfortable.

His lower body had been damaged in an accident, Rubi cleaned any remaining pieces and covered his exposed wireing with a water-proof wax-like subtstance. The wires are very hard to cut, but pulling and tugging on them is incredibly painful to Demetri. If one of the wires were somehow cut, he will lose mobility in the corresponding leg.

Demetri does NOT like dogs... His rubbery arms are but chew-toys to them and as a result... he will shock any dog that tries to nibble on him, despite getting a whacking or scolding by Rubi later.

Demetri likes literature, and will be commonly seen reading a newspaper. If asked why he is reading the news, he just says, "I just like reading words, the information is just a plus..."
Rubi has tried to buy books for him, but Demetri stays true to his comment and does not have a favourite genre. Though he once was seen sneaking off with a romantic-comedy...

What does Demetri hate more than dogs? The one he has to live with... Simon. Demetri hates the "Insane Rat" more than anything and can never get along with him. Rubi had to calm down Demetri multiple times due to Simon's intoleratable behavior and crazy actions. But because Simon is Rubi's roommate, he has no choice but to let him live...
He also sees the guy as a threat to Rodney, but he tries to keep his distance due to complaints from Rodney, because unlike his older brother Rodney actually likes Simon and oddly enough Simon doesn't act as insane and annoying to him as he does to Demetri.

Demetri was created to be human like, and therefore he has human feelings...
He likes to be around Rubi and tries to help her out with his own knowledge of robot technology.
Demetri keeps pondering about why he feels "awkward and stiff" around Rubi at times. He was given the answer by an eavesdropping Simon who started to sing Demetri and Rubi's name in a very popular "love song".
The poor robot knows, or at least thinks, he's strange looking and unattractive to humans, so he believes that Rubi would not feel the same way, so all he can do is be with her when she needs help.
